YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME

‘You don’t understand me’ is a short video of myself saying that you don’t understand me in Ukrainian. It is intended for a particular audience – those, who do not understand this particular language. Yet even in a language understood by both performer and the audience, these phrases raise a question of whether we are capable of truly understanding one another. With the current russian-Ukrainian war it brings an additional meaning.
