Palaces and Illusions

Looking at totalitarian architectural project proposal drawings, these rigid and cold structures may struck with grandiosity but also evoke a sense of the eerie. In the collages I aimed to intensify this effect.

These collages were influenced by works of Étienne-Louis Boullée, Minoru Nomata, Ken Adams and Giorgio de Chirico - that share a utopian, strange and dreamlike quality in representation of spaces and architecture.
